Carpet poles spike converts a standard forklift truck into a specialist carpet handler, eliminating manhandling of a heavy, unstable product. Numerous carpet poles are available in many lengths to suit all sizes and weights of carpet with a choice of carriage mounted or slip on versions that simply slide onto the forklift tynes. Entry into the carpet core is simplified with the smooth tapered tip of carpet poles and the wide faceplate protects against damage to the carpet edges during transportation.
Slip-on Roll Prong suitable for fabric, cable and coil products. Can also be used for carpet handling, but usage is generally restricted to larger forklifts due to the extended load centre created by the length of the tines. These attachments quickly adapt to almost any forklift andrequire only the connection of a safety chain to prevent unintentionaldisengagement. Prongs are manufactured from high tensile steel and can be made to any length.

Carpet Pole: Carriage Mount (Hangs on Fork Lift Carriage)
Carriage mounted roll prongs suitable for carpet, vinyl, fabric, etc. The most commonmounting - Class 2 - features a spring loaded locating pin for easyinstallation. Windowsthrough the backing plate provide optimum vision, while the lost load is reduced to only 100mm.
For Class 3 and 4 mounting please ask for drawings of mounting plate design and specs. High tensile prongs are used throughout.
